- 8 million cases of work-related stress, depression, or anxiety in 2019/20
- Employers recorded 65,427 non-fatal injuries to workers;

- 8 million working days missed due to work-related illness and non-fatal workplace injuries
- It is estimated that 13,000 people die each year as a result of previous work-related exposure, mainly to chemicals or dust.
- In 2019/20, 638,000 workers experience a different case of work-related illness.

- It is estimated that 12,000 lung disease deaths occur each year as a result of previous workplace exposures.

- In 2019/20, the HSE tried, or referred to COPFS for investigation, 325 cases in Scotland where a conviction was obtained.
